Guruvayoor - Athirapally &Vazhachal falls 

                                                                          This trip was planned by my sisters family and my family in my new car.first we booked rooms at guruvayoor and started 6 Am from Trivandrum. By 3 O clock in the evening we reached guruvayoor . We stayed there for that night and the next day, visiting the almighty Lord Krishna  temple Guruvayoor and nearby temples. We also went to Anakottil / Punnathurkotta were elephants are protected and trained.

                                                                     The next day early morning we left Guruvayoor and moved to Athirapally -Vazhachal area. Very nice road ,and mostly can drive above 90 Kms. As the season was very dry we cannot find so much water in the falls especially in Athirapally. Even though I had been to guruvayoor temple so many times this was my first visit to Athirapally and Vazhachal . By 4 Pm we started our return journey.

                                                                       

Vazhachal Falls 

Vazhachal Falls is a rushing watercourse in the Chalakkudy River in the Thrissur district of Kerala.It is located 36 km from Chalakkudi and 5 km from Athirappilly Falls.Its cool, misty water cascading down with the backdrop of thick green forest and rocky terrain are scintillating experience for visitors.
